    Nadja, SHE/HER $150/hr

Nadja grew up in Asheville, and it shows in her work — creative, rooted, and a little bit wild in the best way. She specializes in lived-in color, rich reds, and dimensional brunettes that look intentional from day one and even better six weeks later. Her cuts lean expressive: shags, modern mullets, razor work, and shapes built for real texture and real life.

If you're drawn to bold but wearable, artistic but healthy — Nadja is your person. She approaches every client as a collaboration, taking the time to understand not just what you want, but what will actually work for your hair, your face, and the way you move through the world. Clean beauty is non-negotiable for her, and so is making sure you leave feeling completely, specifically yourself.

Best for: lived-in color, rich reds, creative cuts, textured shags, modern mullets, alternative styles

  • Professional clean beauty stylist at Rustic Ritual Beauty Asheville North Carolina

    Cameron, she/her $100/hr

Cameron came to Asheville from Louisiana, and she brought that warm, unhurried energy with her. She's a blonde specialist — but not the kind that leaves you with a harsh line of demarcation and a countdown clock to your next appointment. Cameron's work is all about color that lives in harmony with your natural tones: sun-kissed, dimensional, and designed to grow out so gracefully you'll forget where your hair ends and the color begins.

Her approach is rooted in hair health first — ammonia-free, low-toxic color that enhances rather than compromises. Whether you're a longtime blonde looking for a refresh or a brunette wanting to ease into dimension, Cameron has a way of making it feel effortless and completely yours. Asheville's outdoor lifestyle is baked into everything she does: she's building color for the trails, the patios, and the people who don't want to think too hard about their hair.

Best for: lived-in blonding, balayage, soft highlights, dimensional brunettes, low-maintenance color

  • Asheville NC hair stylist specializing in low-toxic color and scalp care at Rustic Ritual Beauty

    Dan, $70/hr

Dan is the kind of stylist who makes things look effortless — because he's put in the work to make it that way. He specializes in precision haircuts and modern lived-in color, with a particular gift for men's cuts, fades, and gender-neutral styles that feel refined without being fussy. His clients come in looking for something clean and leave looking like the best version of themselves.

Detail and craftsmanship are at the core of everything Dan does. He works with all hair types and takes the time to really listen — understanding not just the cut you want, but the life you're going to wear it in. His color work is ammonia-free and low-toxic, fully aligned with Rustic Ritual's clean beauty standards. Whether you're after a sharp fade, a textured crop, or a subtle color refresh, Dan's chair is a no-judgment, inclusive space where you leave feeling confident and completely like yourself.

Best for: precision cuts, fades, men's and gender-neutral haircuts, modern classic styles, dimensional color

    Kellsie she/her $125/hr

Eighteen years behind the chair has a way of making things look easy — and with Kellsie, it genuinely is. She specializes in multidimensional blondes, rich reds, and lived-in color that's designed to be low-maintenance in the best possible way: not because corners are cut, but because the foundation is built so well that growing out is part of the beauty. Her soft layered cuts move with you, enhance your natural texture, and somehow always look like they were meant to be exactly that way.

Kellsie is also one of Asheville's go-to stylists for wedding and special event hair — a natural fit for someone with a background as a formal styling educator. She brings the same calm, grounded presence to a bridal morning as she does to a Tuesday afternoon color appointment. Clients describe her as someone who makes them feel genuinely heard, and who delivers something that feels collaborative rather than just cosmetic.

If you're looking for a stylist you can grow with — someone who will know your hair as well as you do — Kellsie is that person.

Best for: multidimensional blondes, balayage, rich reds, soft layered cuts, wedding & special event hair

  • Rustic Ritual Beauty hair stylist at clean salon in South Slope Asheville NC

    Kree she/her $115/hr

Kree is the kind of stylist who makes the whole appointment feel like a celebration — and she has the credentials to back up the good vibes. With over a decade of experience and a Cosmetology Instructor License earned in 2020, she spent time teaching at Paul Mitchell The School Michigan under Carlton Northern, the legendary hairdresser behind Aretha Franklin's iconic looks. That's the level of foundation she's working from.

She relocated from Metro Detroit to Western North Carolina in 2023 and brought all of that energy, expertise, and genuine love for people straight to Rustic Ritual's chair. Kree lights up for vivid color, dimensional reds and brunettes, grey coverage, and blowouts — especially on long, thick hair that other stylists shy away from. She also specializes in gender-affirming and transformational haircuts, approaching every cut as an opportunity to help someone feel fully, powerfully themselves.

Want to talk about your dog, your last trip, or your favorite hobby? She's in. Want complete silence and pure relaxation? She's equally great at that too.

Best for: vivid color, dimensional reds and brunettes, grey coverage, blowouts, gender-affirming and transformational cuts

    Leah she/her $110/hr

Leah grew up in tiny Marshville, NC, and has spent the last 16 years turning hair into her favorite art medium — part science experiment, part magic spell, part main-character transformation. She has a gift for taking inspiration pics, complicated color histories, and "I want something different but I don't know what" and turning them into something that feels completely, unmistakably you.

Her style is artsy, colorful, a little witchy, and deeply rooted in self-expression, nature, and individuality. She does it all — lived-in color and sun-kissed naturals, rainbow and vivid placement, dimensional blondes, brunettes, violets and redheads, gray blending, layered and alternative cuts, and multiple balayage techniques. What ties it together is her approach: she puts her whole heart into every appointment and wants every client to leave feeling beautiful, empowered, and genuinely glowing.

Leah's chair is warm, creative, and a little bit magical. Come ready to laugh, talk, and create something together — or request a silent appointment if you'd rather just soak it all in.

Best for: lived-in color, vivid and rainbow color, dimensional blondes and brunettes, violets, gray blending, alt and artsy cuts, balayage

    Jessy they/them $105/hr

Jessy is a queer, non-binary hair stylist with over 10 years behind the chair and an approach that's equal parts intuitive and intentional. They listen — really listen — to what you want, then bring their own creative instincts into the conversation to help you get there. The result feels collaborative in the truest sense: your vision, their artistry, built together.

Their aesthetic draws from time spent in nature, Japanese hair fashion, and the full spectrum of everyday trends — which means Jessy is equally at home with a perfectly sculpted precision cut and a fully unhinged creative transformation. Fair warning: there's a strong chance they'll ask if you want to leave a rat tail or a mullet. (Say yes. You won't regret it.)

But what makes Jessy's chair truly different is the space they hold for the people in it. Sensitive, empathetic, and deeply caring, they create an environment where you can show up exactly as you are — whatever you're carrying that day — and feel genuinely supported. They're in this for the long haul, building real connections with clients that go far beyond the appointment.

Best for: creative and alternative cuts, precision haircuts, Japanese-inspired styles, expressive transformations, gender-affirming stylingoes here

    Caitlyn Patch Owner she/her $200/hr

Caitlyn built Rustic Ritual Beauty from a very specific vision: a salon where the pricing is honest, the air is clean, and the work actually lasts. After 24 years behind the chair in New York City, Denver, Montreal, and Asheville, she has the kind of experience that shows up not in how she talks about hair, but in how she sees it — immediately, precisely, and with a clear plan.

She specializes in precision haircuts that grow out like they were always supposed to look that way, lived-in blonding and dimensional color for people who want beautiful hair without rebuilding their entire schedule around it, and curly cuts that work with texture rather than against it. She's also one of Asheville's most sought-after practitioners for transformative head spas — deeply restorative scalp treatments that address buildup, dryness, shedding, and long-term hair health in ways a regular appointment simply can't.

Beyond the chair, Caitlyn created Rustic Ritual's signature Lip + Cheek Tint and continues building the brand's clean beauty offerings. Outside the salon she's a twin mom, outdoor enthusiast, and the kind of creative entrepreneur who genuinely can't stop making things.

If you book with Caitlyn, come ready to be honest about your hair history and your life — she'll build something around both.

Best for: precision cuts, curly cuts, lived-in blonding, dimensional balayage, head spas, scalp wellness
