It all begins with an idea.
In April 2024, a lifelong dream came true when I opened the doors to my first salon in Asheville. Rustic Ritual Beauty was built to be more than a salon—it was a space for clean beauty, creativity, and community. Just a few months later, in September, Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina and completely destroyed that space.
Losing the salon so soon after opening was heartbreaking. Not only was it a financial loss, but it felt like years of vision and hard work had been washed away. Still, one thing became clear during the recovery: the Asheville community and organizations like Operation Blessing were determined to help small businesses rise again.
Operation Blessing stepped in with incredible generosity, making it possible for Rustic Ritual Beauty to rebuild. Their donation provided resources we could never have managed alone and gave us the chance to start fresh in a new home in Asheville’s South Slope. Their support wasn’t just financial—it was a reminder that resilience and community go hand in hand.
Today, Rustic Ritual Beauty is back and stronger than ever. Our new salon in South Slope carries forward the same mission: offering non-toxic salon services in Asheville that prioritize health, sustainability, and beauty without compromise. From intentional hair color to scalp therapy, everything we do is rooted in clean beauty principles.
