I grew up in the mountains of Asheville North Carolina, surrounded by nature and creativity — two passions that continue to inspire my work today. My love for art and creating naturally led me to the beauty industry, and since becoming a licensed cosmetologist in 2019, I’ve dedicated myself to crafting hair that’s as unique and expressive as the individuals who sit in my chair.

At our South Slope location, I specialize in lived-in color, rich reds, custom coloring, and precision haircuts ranging from textured styles to mullets and shags. My approach combines artistry with technical skill, allowing me to design looks that are both effortless and personalized. I’m committed to continuing my education in both hair and art, always seeking out new techniques and trends to elevate my craft and offer the best to my clients.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll often find me out on the trails with my dog, experimenting with other forms of art, or listening to music that sparks creativity. For me, hairstyling isn’t just about changing your look — it’s about creating connection, confidence, and a style that feels authentically you.

I have been in the beauty industry for over 24 years. I have certification in makeup from Montreal and started gaining experience as an assistant in NYC. Driven by a passion for learning I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2007. To combine my love for wellness with my expertise in beauty I became a certified yoga teacher. I also worked as an educator and stylist for Aveda and assisted for Nick Arrojo in NYC. In 2013, I gained training in skin care and opened a spa for a prestigious Conde Nast Relais & Châteaux property. In 2017 I relocated to Asheville. I worked at Wink Salon, honing my craft and deepening my education. In 2023 I took a leap and started Rustic Ritual Beauty. I create my own product line, a lip and cheek tint for the adventure professional on the go. I also educate stylists, and still occasionally work behind the chair. I hold certifications in scalp therapy from Rene Furter, completed a "Cutting Specialist" class with Left Brain Group with Lo Shabino, and became a Blonding specialist in NYC in 2022. I am a mother to twin 8 yr olds and love the outdoors and spending time being a with my children.
